Abstract
The provincial and municipal levels of water and soil conservation planning proposes to build a new water and soil conservation monitoring station in Neihuang County.Due to the working depth of the planning stage,the station site has not been selected.This study takes Neihuang County as an example to propose a method which suitable for selecting the location of county-level monitoring stations.Guided by the modified wind erosion equation and the Chinese soil loss equation,and supported by the open source GIS software,this study screened six factors,including soil factor,vegetation factor,wind speed factor,land acquisition price factor,other monitoring station factor,and flood storage and detention area factor,and used spatial analysis for analyzing.The recommended scope and site for the station were proposed,mainly involving towns such as Chengguan.The recommended site is Yuanzhuang Village,Gaodi Township.The site selection for soil and water conservation monitoring stations proposed in this study is scientific and concise,and is basically applicable to the location selection work at the county level.It can provide a certain reference for site selection of monitoring stations in other counties in Henan province.关键词
