A Security Authentication Protocol for Base Station to UAV Swarm for UAV-assisted Cellular Network

Abstract
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)-based applications are highly vulnerable to security threats since UAVs use wireless communication technologies.Establishing trust with the cellular base station is an effective measure to enchance UAV network to defend the security attck.However,the resources of UAVs is limited and the traditional trust mechanism isn't suitable Scalable security Authentication Protocol based on Optimal Path is proposed(SCOP)based on the optimal path is proposed.In SCOP protocol,the optimal path is constructed by Christofides algorithm.Base station sends a combination authentication message to all UAVs in the optimal path in order to reduce the authentication overhead.In addition,SCOP cites Physical Unclonable Functions(PUFs)and simple encryption operation to ensure physical layer security and to reduce the calculation overhead of UAV terminal.The correctness of SCOP protocol is proved by BAN logic.The performance analysis shows that compared to the similar authentication protocol,the proposed SCOP protocol can reduce the authentication overhead and can decrease the calculation time of UAV terminal.关键词
