Progress in clinical application of systemic immune-inflammatory index
摘要
Abstract
The systemic immune-inflammatory index(SII)is a new scoring system for evaluating immune system function.It is defined as the ratio of platelet count x neutrophil count/lymphocyte count.It combines platelets,neutrophils,and lym-phocytes to better evaluate the immune and inflammatory status of patients.In recent years,many studies have shown that the SII is increasingly used to evaluate the prognosis of tumors,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,and inflamma-tion-related diseases,and its application value in many diseases is better than the traditional indicators such as neu-trophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR).Moreover,it has simple calculation,low cost of detec-tion index,good repeatability,easy to promote in clinical practice,and has attracted the attention of clinical workers.This article reviews the recent progress in the clinical application of SII,so that the majority of clinical workers have a more com-prehensive understanding of SII,in order to better clinical application,and ultimately benefit patients.关键词
