Differentiation and treatment of syndrome of blockade of dampness due to yin deficiency based on the theory of"yang transforming qi while yin shaping up body"
摘要
Abstract
The syndrome of blockade of dampness due to yin deficiency falls into the category of intermingled deficiency and excess,prevalent in the clinical syndrome differentiation of metabolic diseases,respiratory system diseases,fatigue syndrome,and sub-health state and so on.Clinically,the contradictory pathological state of yin deficiency and dampness stagnation is prone to coexist,and it is difficult to eliminate the lingering dampness and to recover the deficiency of yin and vital qi,so it is not easy to differentiate and treat this complicated syndrome.Based on the theory of"yang transforming qi while yin shaping up the body"in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor,the key of the syndrome lies in the deficiency of yin,blood and body fluids,resulting in an insufficient yang transforming qi,while an excessive yin shaping up the body.In line with the principle of"treating the root cause of a disease",the syndrome should be differentiated and treated by taking into account both its deficiency and excess,coordinating its pathogenic factors and positive factors,reinforcing yang and resolving dampness without damaging yin,nourishing yin and the body without reinforcing dampness,so as to restore yin and body fluids,transform qi,and remove dampness and turbidity,achieving the goal of the"natural harmony of body fluids"as described in the Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases.Focusing on the syndrome of blockade of dampness due to yin deficiency,this paper discusses its etiology,pathogenesis,symptoms,and treatment methods,with a view to offering an insight into its clinical practice and providing an idea for the differentiation and treatment of the fatigue syndrome after COVID-19 infection from the perspective of"natural harmony of body fluids".关键词
