A Study on the Spatial Clustering Characteristics and Effects of the Utilization Efficiency of the Funds for Higher Education in Hunan Province

Abstract
This paper selects the data on the utilization efficiency of the funds for higher education in the cities and prefectures of Hunan Province from 2008 to 2021,and analyzes the spatial clustering and autocorrelation of the utilization efficiency of the funds for higher education in its cities and prefectures through spatial clustering and overall spatial autocorrelation tests.The following conclusions have been drawn:the clustering of the utilization efficiency of the funds for higher education in its cities and pre-fectures shows an obvious dynamic trend,but there is no significant spatial clustering feature in each city and prefecture;the utilization efficiency of the funds for higher education was not significant in 2008 in terms of spatial autocorrelation,without forming evident spatial distribution characteristics;the utilization efficiency of the funds for higher education represented a significant spatial positive correla-tion in 2012 and 2016,but it showed an obvious spatial negative correlation in 2021,with remarkable spatial differences among cities.关键词
