摘要

Abstract

Spasmodic torticollis(ST)is a focal dystonic disorder that occurs in the neck,and the efficacy of routine clinical treatment is limited.Based on the"state-target differentiation and treatment"theory,this paper posits that ST predominantly pertains to a cold state,and a modified Gegen Decoction can secure a certain therapeutic effect in its treatment.Gegen Decoction is a regulating formula for a cold state and also a targeted formula for neck diseases.Kudzuvine root in the formula is the targeted medicine for severe neck pain.For relaxing tendons and relieving muscle tension,it can be massively used up to 60g,and in severe cases,even up to 120g.When using Gegen Decoction clinically,attention should be paid to adjusting the formula according to specific symptoms to achieve good therapeutic effects.
