Research progress of L-arginine supplementation therapy in the treatment of some diseases
摘要
Abstract
L-arginine,as a precursor of nitric oxide,polyamines and other molecules with enormous biological signifi-cance,plays versatile key roles in nutrition and metabolism.It is the key regulatory factor under some disease conditions.L-arginine administration is beneficial to improving cardiovascular endothelial and immune functions via its downstream prod-ucts such as nitric oxide and ornithine.It also has a regulatory effect on tumor growth and COVID-19 infection according to recent researches.L-arginine has a unique role in the treatment of many common health problems,and also has a broad ap-plication prospect in the clinical treatment of diseases.关键词
