摘要

Abstract

In order to study the leakage flow in the gear tip groove clearance and its influence on the performance of external gear pump,a domestic gear pump was selected as research object.According to the design theory of tip groove of compressor,the external gear pump with tip groove was designed.The leakage flow in tip clearance and performance at different outlet pressure of the external gear pump with tip groove were compared with that of the prototype pump by using numerical simulation.The results show that the efficiency of the external gear pump with tip groove is higher than that of the prototype pump.The radial leakage and amplitude of flow fluctuation of the external gear pump is smaller than that of the prototype pump.The gear tip groove increase the flow regimes in tip clearance.
