Effect of Bacillus licheniformis on growth performance,immune function and intestinal microbes of White-feathered broilers

Abstract
The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of Bacillus licheniformis supplementation on growth performance,immune function and intestinal microbes of White-feathered broilers.A total of 136 one-day-old White-feathered broilers with a body weight of about 42 g were randomly divided into two groups with four replicates in each group and 17 broilers in each replicate.The White-feathered broilers in the control group were fed with a basal diet,and the experimental group added 250 mg/kg Bacillus licheniformis preparation to the basal diet.The experiment lasted for 43 d.The results showed that at 43 days of age,compared to the control group,ADG of White-feathered broilers in the experimental group was increased by 6.18%(P<0.05),F/G was decreased by 4.9%(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the VH/CD in jejunum and ileum,the serum IgA,IgG,IgM and spleen index and thymus index were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the microbial diversity of cecum was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the bacterial community structure was significantly separated(P<0.05).The proportion of beneficial intestinal microorganisms Faecalibacterium and Ruminococcus-torques increased,and the intestinal microbial composition improved.The study indicates that Bacillus licheniformis combined with the basal diet can improve the growth performance,immune function,intestinal structure,reduce microbial diversity in the cecum and increase the proportion of beneficial bacteria in the cecum,ensure the healthy growth of broilers.关键词
