摘要

Abstract

The experiment was to study the effect of astaxanthin and antimicrobial peptides on laying hens in the late laying period.A totaol of 700 healthy 56-week-old Hailan brown laying hens with similar weight were selected and randomly divided into seven groups,with five replicates in each group and 20 hens in each replicate.The hens in E0 group(control group)were fed a basal diet,the hens in E1~E6 were fed with a basal diet with different levels of astaxanthin(0.5%,1.0%,1.5%)and antimicrobial peptides(300,500 mg/kg).The pre-test period was 1 w and the trial period was 8 w.The results showed that compared with E0,the egg production rate in E1~E6 significantly increased(P<0.05),and E3 was significantly higher than that of the other experimental groups(P<0.05).The serum IL-2,IL-10,TNF-α and IFN-γ in E1~E6 were significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05).The jejunum villus height of E3 significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05),the jejunum crypt depth of E1~E6 significantly decreased compared to E0(P<0.05),and the jejunum villi to crypt ratio of E1~E6 significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05).The ileum villus height of E1~E6 was significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05),the ileum crypt depth of E1~E6 significantly decreased compared to E0(P<0.05),and the ileum villi to crypt ratio of E1~E6 significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05).The number of cecal Lactobacilli in E1~E6 significantly increased compared to E0(P<0.05),and the number of cecal Escherichia coli in E1~E6 significantly decreased compared to E0(P<0.05).The study indicates that adding astaxanthin and antimicrobial peptides to the diet can improve the feeding effect of laying hens in the late laying period,and adding 1.0%astaxanthin and 300 mg/kg antimicrobial peptides has better effect.
