摘要

Abstract

In order to further enhance the application effectiveness of particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in the scheduling of hydropower generation the generation of initial population the mutation mode and the local searching ability of the basic PSO are improved in which the uniform design concept and chaos concept are introduced into particle swarm optimization algorithm and the nonlinear adaptive design of inertia weight is carried out.Based on the improved PSO algorithm a scheduling optimization model for a hydropower station is established and the calculation results of improved PSO algorithm are also compared with that of standard particle swarm optimization algorithm and traditional dynamic programming respectively.The results indicate that the PSO algorithm performs well in the optimization of reservoir power generation scheduling and the improved PSO algorithm has higher practical value by considering the convergence ability stability and computational time of PSO algorithm comprehensively.
