Abstract
Objective:To understand the true feelings about the potential risks in using long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes among nurses,and to analyze the reasons for the potential risks.Methods:Semi-structured interview method was used to interview 15 operating room nurses.Phenomenological analysis was used to analyze the interview content,summa-rize and refine the themes.Results:Operating room nurses'risk experience of using long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes was summarized into 2 themes and 7 subthemes.Patient safety risks included wound infection risks,pressure injury risks,electrical equipment using risks,intraoperative risks of hypothermia.Risks of using long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes included the risk of damage to long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes,the risk of surgical instruments slipping,and the risk of long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes not matching the surgery.Conclusion:There are certain risks in the clinical application of long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes.Operating room nurses should strengthen observation during the use of long-fiber polyester fiber surgical drapes,accurately assess,predict,and prevent the occurrence of risks,and at the same time strengthen provide relevant training and improve relevant risk prevention measures.关键词
