Abstract

Taking a medium-sized oil refinery as an example and combining with the current background of"carbon peaking and carbon neutrality"target,this paper introduces energy consumption and carbon emission status of the refinery,and summarizes three directions of energy conservation and carbon reduction in refining enterprises.From the technical aspect,the implementation process of energy conservation and carbon reduction in refineries is systematically introduced,and some completed projects are listed,such as adding hot high pressure separator process in diesel hydrogenation unit,adding the side draw to the primary distillation tower in atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit,shutting down the feed heating furnace in jet fuel hydrogenation unit by heat integration,modifying waste heat recovery of heating furnaces,enhancing heat transfer inside the furnaces,adding insulation coating on the furnace outer wall,optimizing the low heat system,improving energy efficiency of rotating equipment and so on.Through systematic implementation of energy conservation and carbon reduction measures,comprehensive energy consumption of the refinery is reduced by 11.98%,single factor energy consumption is reduced by 7.3%,total carbon emission is reduced by 5.13%,and energy conservation management level has been greatly improved.
