摘要

Abstract

The composition and source of organic impurities in zinc sulfate electrolyte of a zinc smelter in Jiangxi province were studied,and the influence of glass fibre reinforced plastic(GFRP)components on zinc electrodeposition was studied by electrochemical method.The results show that the organic impurities in the electrolyte mainly come from bone glue,GFRP extract,polyacrylamide decomposition.And GFRP components can increase the zinc deposition overpotential in the electrodeposition process,thus increasing the direct current consumption of zinc electrodeposition.
