Abstract
The scale and complexity of current communication networks are increasing,and network security and reliability are be-coming more and more prominent.The traditional optical transport network(OTN)can only resist single-point failure,and it is diffi-cult to meet the reliability requirements of services in the case of multi-point failure or catastrophic failure.In view of the characteris-tics of optical-layer ASON and electrical-layer ASON,we analyze the strategies related to the deployment of optical-layer and electri-cal-layer ASON co-protection,and discuss the challenges faced by the deployment of optical-layer and electrical-layer ASON co-pro-tection as well as the future development trend.It aims to provide an effective solution for improving service security and reliability in communication networks.关键词
