Abstract

A novel process of proactively loading catalyst onto ordered-porous stainless steel was proposed,and the corresponding proactively loading equipment were developed.The effects of proactively load process parameters on the loading performance of ordered-porous stainless steel were analyzed through SEM and ultrasonic vibration technology,and the hydrogen production performance of the ordered-porous stainless steel loaded by catalyst was studied.The experimental results indicate that the proactively loading of catalyst on the ordered-porous stainless steel catalysts can be achieved by driving the reciprocating flow of catalyst precursor solution between the impregnation container and the storage container.The suitable proactively load process parameters are the driving pressure of 0.002 MPa and the solution flow of 0.3 L/min.Under these conditions,the ordered-porous stainless steel has more uniform catalyst distribution and the catalyst does not block the porous flow channel.Compared with the traditional process for loading catalyst onto ordered-porous stainless steel,the proactively loading process can make the methanol conversion,H2 flow rate and CO selectivity increased by 4.34%,4.23%and 1.89%,respectively,when the reaction temperature is 360 ℃ and the injection flow volume of methanol-water mixture is 4 mL/h.
