Abstract
Isosorbitol is a green and environmentally friendly bio-based material,which is an ideal monomer to replace bisphenol A in the preparation of polycarbonate.Isosorbitol polycarbonate has superior heat resistance,UV stability,visible light transmittance,and wear resistance.This article reviews the synthesis methods of isosorbitol polycarbonate including phosgene method,hydroxyl-terminal activation method and non-phosgene melt ester exchange-polycondensation method.The catalysts used in melt ester exchange-polycondensation method are introduced,and the modification methods of isosorbitol polycarbonate are discussed.It is proposed that the design and development of highly active ionic liquid catalysts is the future research direction of melt exchange-polycondensation method.关键词
