Formation Mechanism of Privacy Policy Avoidance Behavior of Sports and Health App Users

Abstract
This paper aims to explore the formation mechanism of privacy policy avoidance behavior of sports and health App users,guide users to reduce privacy policy avoidance behavior,and improve users'awareness of privacy protection.We adopt the key event method and ladder-climbing interview method to conduct semi-structured interviews with users who have experienced privacy policy avoidance,and code the interview data at three levels to construct a model of trigger mechanism for privacy policy avoidance behavior of sports and health App users with the help of Nvivo 11 software.The study suggests that privacy policy perceptions,regulatory environment perceptions,and platform perceptions indirectly influence the emergence of privacy policy avoidance intentions through the mediating role of psychological traits and privacy risk perceptions,and personal traits moderate the effects of the three perceptions on psychological traits.Task-driven factor moderates the development of avoidance intentions into avoidance behavior,and privacy breach incidents and platform interventions moderate the transformation of complete avoidance behavior into partial avoidance behavior.The formation of privacy policy avoidance behavior presents new characteristics due to the particularity of policy information.The results expand the research field of information behavior and provide reference suggestions for optimizing the privacy policy service of Apps.关键词
