Current Situation and Improvement Strategies of Construction of Ancient Chinese Scientific and Technological Document Thematic Databases

Abstract
This article conducts a detailed investigation on the current construction status of ancient Chinese scientific and technological document thematic databases through literature collection,online surveys,and other methods.We calculate the proportion of the construction entities,data types,and system func-tions of ancient Chinese scientific and technological document thematic databases.Based on the research results,we find that there are problems in the current construction of ancient Chinese scientific and technological document thematic databases,such as lack of standardization,restricted access,insufficient intro-duction,imbalance of disciplines,single function,and weak interaction.These databases should unify the top-level design,open up the access channels,update the introduction in time,guarantee complete disciplines,explore various functions of databases,and provide interactive environment.关键词
