摘要

Abstract

To improve the rheological properties of wood-plastic composites(WPC),this study systematically delved into the influence of wood fiber(WF),subjected to diverse contents of alkyl ketene dimer(AKD)modification,on the processing and structural rheological characteristics of WPC.The experimental findings underscored a notable trend:as the mass ratio of AKD to WF increased from 0:100 to 12:100,the equilibrium torque,shear heat,and extrusion pressure of the WPC melt exhibited a discernible decrease,marking reductions of up to 21.05%,15.27%,and 30.93%,respectively.At a scanning frequency of 0.05 rad·s⁻¹,the storage modulus,loss modulus,and complex viscosity of the WPC melt registered significant decreases of up to 27.76%,25.82%,and 26.87%,respectively,in correlation with the ascending AKD content.Dynamic frequency scanning elucidated that AKD modification played a crucial role in weakening the interaction both between WF and polypropylene(PP)and within the WF particles themselves.Moreover,The Han plot and Cole-Cole plot indicated that the WPC melts displayed solid-like rheological behavior with a multi-scale long-time relaxation mechanism.The rheological characteristics associated with the incompatibility between WF and PP gradually diminished with increasing AKD content.Microscopic morphology of the cross-section further substantiated these observations,revealing that the heightened AKD content led to a weakening of the WPC interfacial adhesion,consequently resulting in a decline in mechanical properties.In conclusion,this study not only provided a practical foundation but also served as a valuable technical reference for the efficient processing and comprehensive understanding of the rheological properties of WPC.
