Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of fixed denture repair on oral health status and masticatory function of patients with dentition defect.Methods A total of 68 patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with removable denture repair,and the observation group was treated with fixed denture repair.The oral health status,masticatory function and satisfaction degree with dental repair effect were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the OHIP-14 score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the masticatory function score was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The total satisfaction degree with dental repair effect of the observation group was 94.12％,significantly higher than 70.59％ of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Compared with removable denture repair,fixed denture repair can more significantly improve the oral health status and masticatory function of patients with dentition defect,and improve patients'satisfaction degree with dental repair effect.关键词
