Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of fenestration decompression combined with negative pressure suction in the treatment of patients with odontogenic jaw cyst.Methods 76 patients with odontogenic jaw cyst were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was treated with fenestration decompression,and the observation group was treated with negative pressure suction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,cyst area and recurrence were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00％,significantly higher than 84.21％in the control group(P＜0.05).At 6 months after treatment,the cyst areas of the two groups were smaller than those before treatment,and the cyst area in the observation group was significantly smaller than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Within 6 months of follow-up after treatment,no recurrence occurred in both groups.Conclusions Fenestration decompression combined with negative pressure suction in the treatment of odontogenic jaw cyst can significantly improve the clinical efficacy and reduce the cyst area of patients,without increasing the risk of recurrence.关键词
