摘要

Abstract

This paper explores the potential value of the generative artificial intelligence(AI)in connected autonomous driving technology.The existing research has mainly focused on the traditional perception decision-making and vehicular network technologies,overlooking the significant role of the generative AI in promoting the autonomous driving.Therefore,this paper first discusses how generative AI technologies enhance the performance of modules,including autonomous driving decision-making,training,sensing,and navigation.Then the new role of generative AI technologies in the next generation vehicular network is investigated with the combination of semantic communications,integrated sensing and communication,and new air interface technologies.A connected autonomous driving model based on AI agent is further proposed.Finally,it is emphasized that generative AI is the key to achieving high-level autonomous driving for vehicles.
