摘要

Abstract

The helical heat exchange tube of the steam generator in high-temperature gas-cooled reactor is a relatively weak part of the pressure boundary.If there is any degradation or damage to it,the radioactive medium may leak out and damage the core.In response to the lack of nondestructive testing methods for this kind of heat exchange tube due to complex pipelines,an electromagnetic ultrasonic guided wave detection method suitable for the special structure heat exchange tube of steam generator in high-temperature gas-cooled reactor was proposed.A special electromagnetic ultrasonic guided wave detector and detection probe were developed,a 1∶1 full-size simulator test platform for steam generator was established,and sensitivity test optimization tests and full-length defect detection tests for heat exchange tube were carried out.Test results show that the electromagnetic ultrasonic guided wave detection method can effectively solve the problem of in-service nondestructive testing of heat exchange tube of steam generator in high-temperature gas-cooled reactor.The developed electromagnetic ultrasonic guided wave detector and probe can realize the long distance full coverage detection of the heat exchange tube at a single point,can effectively identify groove defects with a damage rate of 16.8%at the weak welding seam of dissimilar steels in the heat exchange tube on the simulator and at a section about 60.2 meters away from the far end,which verified the feasibility of electromagnetic guided wave in service detection of heat exchange tube of steam generator in high-temperature gas-cooled reactor.
