摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the information throughput and energy transfer efficiency of the wireless powered communication network(WPCN)and realize the sustainable operation of the network,the throughput optimization problem of a reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)assisted WPCN is studied,where the non-linear energy harvesting model is adopted and the RIS performs power splitting.This paper studies optimizing the transmit beamforming of the base station(BS),the time allocation,and the reflect beamforming of the RIS to maximize the throughput of the network,subject to the constraints of the maximum transmit power of the BS,the energy consumption of the RIS,the total time,as well as the unit-module reflection coefficients of the RIS.Since the optimization variables of the considered optimization problem are highly coupled,it is difficult to solve this problem directly.This paper proposes an efficient algorithm based on the alternating optimization and positive semidefinite relaxation techniques to solve the problem.Simulation results show that as compared to the existing benchmark schemes,the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the system throughput and reliability.
