Preparation and Characterization of Shangkehuangshui/Polyvinyl Alcohol Electrospinning Nanofiber Membranes as Wound Dressing

Abstract
Shangkehuangshui is a traditional chinese medicine lotion.At present,gauze impregnated with traditional Chinese medicine Shangkehuangshui is generally used in clinical treatment of wounds,which has short efficacy and needs to change the dressing repeatedly,and gauze is easy to adhere to wounds.Gauze impregnated with Shangkehuangshui cannot preventing water and electrolyte loss while absorbing wound secretions,which limits the application and effect of Shangkehuangshui in traumatology.To solve the above problems,a kind of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)electrospinning nanofiber dressing is prepared by high pressure electrospinning using the superhydrophilic polymer PVA as raw material.Through the characterization and testing of its structure and properties,PVA/HS electrospun fiber film shows great mechanical properties,liquid absorption capacity and drug slow release function.In the test of cytotoxicity,the survival rate of cells in the Shangkehuangshui/PVA electrospinning nanofiber membrane groups are above 75%.Among them,the electrospun fiber membrane with PVA content of 10%and Shangkehuangshui content of 2%has high tensile strength and elastic modulus,and has good ductility and exudate absorption capacity,which can reach more than 8 times of its own weight.In the rat full-layer skin defect repair experiment.The healing speed and healing effect of the wound dressing in this group are significantly better than those in the Shangkehuangshui original medicine group and other low drug content groups.These results indicate that the Shangkehuangshui/PVA electrospinning nanofiber film can be used as a good wound covering,absorbing wound exudation,accelerating skin defect repair,and has a broad prospect in broadening the application form and enhancing the application effect of Shangkehuangshui in traumatology.关键词
