Abstract
Objective:To evaluate psychometric properties of the San Diego Wisdom Scale(SD-WISE)in a sample of Chinese college students.Methods:A sample of 886 participants were recruited to finish the San Diego Wisdom Scale(SD-WISE).The Abbreviated Three Dimensional Wisdom Scale(3D-WS-12)was chosen as the criterion-related indicator.The Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ-9),Generalized Anxiety Disorder(GAD-7),The World Health Organization-Five Well-Being Index(WHO-5),and 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC-10)were chosen as the conver-gent and discriminant validity indicators.Results:(1)The SD-WISE scale had six factors with good fit indices,x2/df=6.27,RMSEA=0.078,SRMR=0.054,CFI=0.979,TLI=0.957.(2)The correlation analyses indicated that the SD-WISE had good convergent validity,discriminant validity and criterion-related validity.(3)The SD-WISE had good internal consistency,with the total scale's Cronbach's α being 0.89 and subscales'Cronbach's α ranging from 0.59 to 0.78.The retest reliabili-ty was 0.75 for the whole scale and that of subscales ranged from 0.47 to 0.66.Conclusion:The Chinese version of San Di-ego Wisdom Scale(SD-WISE)is a reliable and valid instrument to assess wisdom as a comprehensive psychological con-struct.关键词
