基于鳞片计数对6种钝头蛇分类的初步研究
A Preliminary Study on the Classification of Six Species in Pareas Based on Scale Counting

Abstract
In order to suggest the classification of Pareas,the scale data from 6 species 58 individuals have been selected.The difference coefficients and t-test results of three common indicators of morphology have been compared,including"abdominal scale","caudal scale"and"abdominal scale + caudal scale".Then,geographical distribution information and molecular systematics research results have been combined to analysis.The results show that the two statistical methods have strong consistency.There was no significant difference in the three morphological indexes between P.boulengeri and P.carinatus;and the difference between P.margaritophorus and P.macularius has been small;however,P.hamptoni has been different from other Pareas.Therefore,it is concluded that the relationship between P.boulengeri and P.carinatus is close,and it between Pareas chinensis and the first two species has been also relatively close;but the relationship between P.margaritophorus and P.macularius is close.However,the distant relative among P.hamptoni and other species has been also indicated.The difference coefficient combined with t-test method could be applied to the counting of snake scales to get more convincing conclusions.关键词
