Endovascular therapy of post-thrombotic syndrome

Abstract
Post-thrombotic syndrome(PTS)is a major medi-um-to-long-term complication in patients with lower extremi-ty deep vein thrombosis.Conservative treatment,including compression treatment,pharmacotherapy,and exercise train-ing,has become the cornerstone for the treatment of PTS,but the symptoms of some patients do not improve significantly af-ter conservative treatment and surgical intervention are urgent-ly needed.With the development of interventional equipment and technology,endovascular therapy has become the first choice for moderate and severe PTS patients.However,the un-derstanding of surgical indications,operational technical points,and efficacy evaluation is relatively insufficient in the endovascular therapy of PTS.In order to improve the long-term effect of endovascular therapy in pts,surgeons should strictly consider the operative indications,standardize the in-traoperative operation,and strengthen postoperative manage-ment.In addition,the research and development of dedicated venous stents that meet the physiological and anatomical con-ditions of veins are of great significance for improving the ther-apeutic effect of PTS patients.关键词
