Social Exclusion and Depression:The Role of Victim Justice Sensitivity and Envy
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the role of envy and victim justice sensitivity in the pathway from social exclusion to depression,this study established a moderated mediation model.Methods:A total of 739 participants were recruited to complete social exclusion scale,victim justice sensitivity scale,envy scale and center for epidemiologic studies depression Scale.Results:①Social exclusion was positively related to depression.②Envy played a partial mediating role between so-cial exclusion and depression.③Victim justice sensitivity moderated the direct relationship between social exclusion and depression as well as the relationship between social exclusion and envy.For students with high victim justice sensitivity,social exclusion was more strongly associated with envy and depression than those with low justice sensitivity.Conclusion:Social exclusion not only affected college students'depression directly,but also indirectly affected college students'de-pression through envy,and this relationship was moderated by victim justice sensitivity.关键词
