Parental Technoference and Adolescent Smartphone Addiction:The Mediating Role of Self-disgust and Social Sensitivity

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship and mechanism of parental technoference and adolescent smart-phone addiction.Methods:A total of 2,174 middle school students were selected to measure the degree of parental tech-noference,self-disgust,social sensitivity,and smartphone addiction using the Technology Interference in Life Examples Scale,Chinese Version of the Self-Disgust Scale,Social Sensitivity Scale,and Smartphone Addiction Scale,respectively.Results:(1)The relationships between parental technoference,self-disgust,social sensitivity as well as adolescent smart-phone addiction,were significantly positive.(2)Parental technoference could not only directly affect adolescent smartphone addiction,but also affect through two indirect paths:the independent mediating role of self-disgust,and the independent mediating role of social sensitivity.Conclusion:Parental technoference can influence adolescent smartphone addiction through self-disgust and social sensitivity.关键词
