Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of Recombinant Human Growth Hormone(rhGH)combined with nutritional support for children with idiopathic short stature(ISS).Method:A total of 80 children with ISS admitted to Fuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from March 2020 to May 2021 were selected,and divided into two groups by random number table method.Both groups of children were given routine treatment after admission,while the control group(40 cases)was given nutritional support,and the observation group(40 cases)was treated with rhGH on this basis,both groups continued to be treated for 1 year.The growth and development,hormone levels and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the bone age(BA)levels of the two groups were similar after treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the growth rate(GV)and the predicted adult height(PAH)in the observation group were(6.27±1.39)cm/year and(168.24±4.25)cm,respectively,which were higher than(5.62±1.23)cm/year and(165.79±4.14)cm in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no significant difference in the level of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3(IGFBP-3)in the observation group were respectively(320.39±35.36),(3 819.60±276.90)μg/L,which were higher than(169.92±30.67),(3 208.25±273.82)μg/L in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of living environment,physical emotions of children's subjective quality of life questionnaire(ISLQ)in the observation group were(12.74±2.18)and(17.89±2.11)scores,respectively,which were higher than(10.29±2.95)and(15.73±2.92)scores in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:rhGH combined with nutritional support can improve the body hormone level,promote growth and development,and improve the quality of life of children with ISS.关键词
