Abstract
Objective To analyze the application effect of acupuncture at Zusanli combined with modified Xiaochengqi Decoction therapy in patients with incomplete intestinal obstruction.Methods A total of 96 patients with incomplete intestinal obstruction admitted to Nanping People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using the random number table method,with 48 patients in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the observation group was treated with acupuncture at Zusanli combined with modified Xiaochengqi Decoction therapy for one week.The clinical efficacy,symptom improvement,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.83%(46/48),which was higher than 83.33%(40/48)of the control group.The relief time for abdominal pain was(1.26±0.31)days,the relief time for abdominal distension was(1.58±0.42)days,the spontaneous exhaust time was(1.16±0.19)days,and the spontaneous defecation time was(1.42±0.29)days,which was shorter than those in the control group,i.e.(1.89±0.43)days,(2.31±0.57)days,(1.97±0.35)days,and(2.14±0.46)days,respectively,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Before treatment,the scores of abdominal distension and fullness with tenderness,dry mouth,bad breath,and constipation were compared between the two groups,without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of abdominal distension and fullness with tenderness,dry mouth,bad breath,and constipation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups were comparable,without statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture at Zusanli combined with modified Xiaochengqi Decoction therapy has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with incomplete intestinal obstruction,which can alleviate various symptoms,accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function,and have no serious adverse reactions.It has high clinical application value and can be promoted and applied.关键词
