Research progress of ferroptosis and intervertebral disc degeneration
摘要
Abstract
Ferroptosis is a novel cell death that is caused by iron ions and reactive oxygen species inducing intracellular lipid peroxidation,leading to cell membrane damage and ultimately cell death.In recent years,increasing evidence has shown that ferroptosis plays an important role in the process of intervertebral disc degeneration.This paper summarizes the key concepts in the field of ferroptosis at home and abroad in recent years,starting from the perspective of intervertebral disc cells,to explore the relationship between ferroptosis and intervertebral disc degeneration,in order to provide new ideas for the mechanism and treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration.关键词
