Development Ideas of Medicine and Food Homologous Products

Abstract
Objective To provide ideas for the development of medicine and food homologous products.Methods Literature related to medicine and food homologous were searched to analyze the policies,research and development status,and market prospect related to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)health food products and medicine and food homologous products in recent years.Results The medicine and food homologous products could leverage the unique advantages of TCM in preventing diseases,and the industry of homology of medicine and food is an indispensable part of the"Healthy China"strategy.The National Health Department has issued 102 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials that are both food and medicine,providing a possible basis for the development of medicine and food homologous products with health benefits based on these 102 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials in the medicine and food homologous catalog.The development of medicine and food homologous products should be based on the principles of nature,taste,meridian tropism and efficacy,follow the principles of TCM regulation and compatibility,and the formula formulation principles of combining modern physiological effects,and the development principle of closely integrating product development with market demand.On this basis,the products can be developed from four aspects such as tumor diseases,infertility diseases,glucose and lipid metabolism diseases,and enhancing immunity.It is also necessary to pay attention to the combination of product somatosensory and product efficacy.Conclusion The medicine and food homologous products based on 102 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials in the medicine and food homologous catalog are a great supplement to the TCM health food products,and the key to the health products of TCM.关键词
