Abstract
As the primary location for daily activities of elderly individuals,the lighting environment of community plazas holds significant importance for the health of the elderly population.This study,using environmental behavior studies as its starting point,conducted research on Huayu Qiushui Changtian Community in Shapingba District,Chongqing,based on the theories of behavioral settings and Post-Occupancy Evaluation(POE).From the perspective of users,information feedback on the behavioral needs and satisfaction with the light environment of community plazas at night for low-age elderly individuals was established through observation,interviews,and questionnaires.This aimed to understand the inherent connection between the behavioral needs and subjective evaluations of the nighttime community plaza lighting environment for low-age elderly individuals.The study also aimed to summarize issues in the community plaza lighting environment.Based on measured environmental data,the preferred illuminance range for the ground of the community plaza at night for low-age elderly individuals was determined to be between 2 and 10 lx.关键词
