摘要

Abstract

In the present investigation,an experimental study is carried out on a flooded evaporator with double-sided enhanced boiling tubes.The enhanced tube has two spiral fins with different heights in tube side,which are distributed in a cross shape.The conventional Wilson separation method,the extended Gnielinski separation method and a nonlinear fitting method are used to calculate the convection surface heat transfer coefficient inside the tube.The results show that for the three-dimensional enhanced tube with two cross fins of different heights,the results of the extended Gnielinski separation method and the nonlinear fitting method are very close and reasonable,while the results of the Wilson separation method have large deviations,indicating that the extended Gnielinski separation method can be used to calculate the convection surface heat transfer coefficient of the enhanced tube.At a flow velocity of 2 m/s in the tube,the enhancement factor of the tube side surface heat transfer coefficient of the enhanced tube is 3.5,and the pressure drop is 2.6 times that of a smooth tube.
