福州烟台山城市历史空间的历时性考察
Integral Perception of the Urban Spatial History of Fuzhou Yantai Mountain

Abstract
Before its opening to foreign trade,Fuzhou Yantai Mountain area presented a traditional commercial trade layout and social organization structure.At the beginning of the port opening,Yantai Mountain became a modern community where Chinese and foreigners intermingled,as well as an important tea port in southern China.Towards the maturing of the modernization period,Yantai Mountain transformed into a base for anti-imperialist patriotic practice and a typical example of localized modernization.As the urban spaces and their underlying development dynamics underwent different historical periods,the heritage values of each period accumulated to form a consistent multi-layered"politics-commerce-education-residence"modernization process and heritage value.After the founding of PRC,Yantai Mountain's construction activities are executed in the veins of its existing urban functions,and heritage protection is rooted in the multiple cultural implications of urban space,making use of the diverse strengths of governments,markets,social organizations,and individuals in a targeted manner.Through research on the urban historical spaces in Fuzhou Yantai Mountain,this study argues that urban heritage preservation should focus on the process of succession of urban spaces,and giving full consideration to the overlapping and cross-over of heritage values from different historical periods in the city.关键词
