Abstract
[Purpose/significance]To provide reference and guidance for the construction of core capabilities of new types of think tanks with Chinese characteristics,the paper gains insight into the perspectives of frontline experts and scholars on the think tank capacity and new types of think tank construction,and shares theoretical research results and practical progress of think tanks.[Method/process]The paper interprets and analyzes the content of the expert report on the 7th Think Tank Capacity and New Types of Think Tanks Construction ad-vanced training course organized by the editorial department of Think Tank:Theory&Practice,with a focus on summarizing,refining,and recommending important common and individual viewpoints.[Result/conclusion]The essence of new types of think tank construction with Chinese characteristics is to grasp a new historical direc-tion,to resolve new practical problems,and propose new decision-making plans.The core competencies mainly include critical thinking ability,effective utilization ability,strategic ability,and persuasive ability.The solution to new types of think tank construction with Chinese characteristics is to be knowledgeable,refined,adaptable,and innovative.关键词
