Abstract
To achieve uniform illumination,a design method for a compact uniform illumination free-form lens for LEDs is proposed for extended light sources.The method employs a point source-target illuminance mapping approach based on the polar coordinates system to design a free-form lens for point light sources.Subsequently,the design of the free-form lens for an extended LED light source is carried out using a combination of superposition and particle swarm feedback optimization algorithms.Dynamic data link technology is utilized for data interaction between Matlab and Tracepro,enabling automatic optimization throughout the entire process.Based on the extended LED light source,two free-form lenses for circular and rectangular light fields were designed,achieving an increase in uniformity from 0.56 to 0.78 and from 0.68 to 0.84,respectively.关键词
