基于2016-2018年IGS台网观测的美洲地区的低纬电离层特征分析
Characteristics of ionization anomaly in low-latitude ionosphere based on IGS network observations during 2016-2018 at America sector
摘要
Abstract
Based on ionospheric Total Electron Content(TEC)inferred from ground-based GPS observations of IGS network during 2016-2018,the characteristics of Equatorial Ionization Anomaly(EIA)and Low-latitude Ionization Anomaly(LIA)in America sector(300°E)varying with times,months and solar activities were studied.The results showed that the EIA strength and LIA strength reached the maximum around 1300-1500 LT,the EIA and LIA strengths were larger in equinoctial months than that in other months,and they would be weaker with the decrease of solar activity.The north-south asymmetries of EIA and LIA reached the maximum around 1700-2100 LT,and they were more remarkable in summer months(May-August)than that in other months.Moreover,EIA strength was larger than LIA strength,while the north-south asymmetry of LIA would be more significant that the EIA asymmetry.关键词
