Measurement Method of Area Electricity Carbon Emission Based on Generalized Nodal Carbon Emission Flow

Abstract
The electricity carbon emission measurement in the power system is the technical foundation for the power industry's low-carbon transformation.The existing power grid average emission factor method has issues with large temporal and spatial granularity when measuring carbon emissions on the user side.Although in recent years,the carbon emission flow theory based on power flow data has overcome this problem,the node-level spatial resolution of this method leads to issues such as high computational complexity and the inability to keep the topology structure of the power grid confidential.Therefore,this paper proposes the electricity carbon emission measurement method for area power grid based on generalized nodal carbon emission flow theory to achieve fast calculation of area electricity emission factor and carbon flow in interregional power corridors.Simulation validation on the basis of the modified PJM5 system and actual power grid data in a certain region of China is carried out using the case study system.Compared with conventional method,the generalized node carbon flow theory proposed in this paper has a faster calculation speed for solving regional carbon emission factors,requires less data,and still satisfies the real-time unbiased indirect carbon emission measurement,confirming the effectiveness of the proposed method.关键词
