Lai Xinsheng's Tongyuan Method in Treatment of Oculomotor Nerve Paralysis in Diabetes
摘要
Abstract
Professor Lai Xinsheng believes that the pathogenesis of diabetes induced oculomotor paralysis is"obstruction of the collater-al,loss of eyelid and eye nourishment as well as the imbalance between Yin and Yang",which should be treated as"regulating tendons and activating disuse as well as regulating Yin and Yang".Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment should be guided by the Tongyuan method in the clinical practice.By dredging Du meridian and regulating Ren meridian the Yin and Yang can be regulated,by strengthe-ning the Zheng Qi and eliminating the evil factors.The Foot Taiyang meridian as well as the Hand and Foot Shaoyang meridians are se-lected to dredge the meridians according to the syndrome differentiation.Besides,the Yin and Yang Qiao meridians can adjust the open-ing and closing of the eyes,so adjusting it by means of manipulation to supplement or reduce,focusing on"unblocking the collaterals for use".The penetration needling method and the Qi acupuncture method are used to stimulate the meridian Qi and help it reach the dis-ease site,with remarkable clinical effect.关键词
