Abstract
This paper presents ductility reduction factor spectra for ordinary concrete structures and self-centering structures based on the typical hysteresis model(Clough model)and the flag-shaped model,respectively.The spectra are obtained by performing elastic-plastic response spectrum analysis for a single-degree-of-freedom system using a large number of seismic records from different regions and site conditions.The spectra are fitted by multi-segment linear functions with an error of less than 10%in the common period range of structures.A comparison between the spectra of the two models reveals that self-centering structures have higher strength demands than ordinary concrete structures under the same ductility level,which implies the necessity of rational design of energy dissipation and strength capacities for self-centering structures.关键词
