Abstract
Objective To explore the influencing factors of disease acceptance in patients with lung cancer,and establish a structural equation model to lay a foundation for exploring the intervention mode of disease acceptance.Methods A total of 215 lung cancer patients from a grade-A hospital in Guangdong Province were chosen using a convenience sample tech-nique from June to September 2022.They were investigated using general data questionnaire,the disease acceptance scale,the medical coping style scale,the perceptive social support scale,and the general self-efficacy scale.The model was then built and evaluated.Results Lung cancer patients'overall disease acceptance score was(22.68±4.67)point.Their medical coping style ratings were 16(14,18),14(13,16),and 9(6,10)point,respectively,and their overall comprehension of social support score was 46(38,53)point.The general self-efficacy measure yielded a final result of(20.30±4.42)point.The overall score for disease acceptance was inversely connected with yielding style and positively correlated with facing style,social support,and self-efficacy(P＜0.05).The greatest beneficial factor on sickness acceptance was self-efficacy,followed by social support.Yield style had a detrimental impact on illness acceptance,whereas face style had a beneficial impact.Conclusions Patients with lung cancer have a low level of disease acceptance.It is necessary to help them make full use of supportive resources,enhance their self-efficacy and actively face the disease,so as to improve their disease acceptance level,improve their physical and mental health,and promote the improvement of quality of life.关键词
