摘要

Abstract

[Purpose/significancce]In order to solve the possible human manipulation of evaluation indicators in the evaluation of CSSCI journals and the unfairness caused by too short publication time,this paper proposes a new evaluation method based on preventing human manipulation and changing the weight of evaluation indicators.[Method/process]Firstly,correct the journal's excessive self-citation and make appropriate corrections to the low number of articles to obtain a reasonable impact factor.Then change the weight of the total citation frequency according to the history of the journal,and change the weight of the impact factor when the cumulative number of articles in the outstanding journals is low.[Result/conclusion]Based on the research results of the CSSCI journals of Library Information and Documentation in CNKI Citation Database,the phenomenon of excessive self-citation and man-made manipulation of the content of the journals exists to a certain extent.The traditional CSSCI journal evaluation methods need to be improved,the new CSSCI evaluation results are quite different from the traditional CSSCI evaluation results,highlighting the importance of the new evaluation method.
