Abstract

In the past,the independent research and development of moisture migration and frost heave test equipment were conducted.Additionally,artificial preparations of sand,75%sand +25%silty clay,and 25%sand +75%silty clay were analyzed for moisture migration patterns and frost heaving characteristics under water vapor conditions.Different types of soil specimens were analyzed for their freezing time and moisture content,as well as the amount of frost heaving and frost heaving force,and the changing rules were examined.Furthermore,fitting formulas for the amount of frost heaving and frost heaving force of different types of soil specimens were established.The results show that soil properties have a significant effect on water migration,with an increase in fine particle content in the soil,the temperature fields of different types of soil samples tend to stabilize after 7 days of freezing.The sand sample has a frost heaving capacity of 0.71 mm,the 75%sand + 25%silty clay sample has a frost heaving capacity of 0.55 mm,the 25%sand + 75%silty clay sample has a frost heaving capacity of 0.36 mm,and the silty clay sample has little change.The frost heaving force of different types of soil has a positive linear relationship with an increase in freezing time.The frost heaving force of samples at the same height decreases with an increase in fine particle content in the soil.
