Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of exogenous Brassinolide(BR)on physiological characters,yields and qualities of tartary buckwheat[Fagopyrum tataricum(L.)Gaertn.].Pot experiments were conducted using'Chuanqiao No.1'as materials.The tested BR levels included 0(CK),0.05 m g/L(Y1),0.10 mg/L(Y2),0.15 mg/L(Y3)for Foliar spray of at the squaring stage.The results showed that exogenous BR could increase plant height,stem diameter,node number of main stem and effective branch number of tartary buckwheat,and Y3 treatment had the most significant effect;BR treatment can effectively regulate the physiological characteristics of tartary buckwheat plants,promote the accumulation of soluble protein in buckwheat leaves,slow down the degradation of chlorophyll content in senescent buckwheat leaves,and effectively reduce the accumulation of MDA;The 1 000 grain weight and grain weight per plant of BR treatment were higher than CK treatment,which significantly improved grain quality,and Y3 treatment significantly increased the contents of soluble protein,Y2 treatment had the best effect on the content of soluble sugar and flavonoids.In conclusion,Br treatment with appropriate concentration can promote the growth of tartary buckwheat,improve the physiological characteristics of leaves,improve the yield and quality of tartary buckwheat.
