Abstract
Water damage is one of the main causes of highway asphalt pavement damage in China.But,there is no matured methods to judge the causes and the targeted methods and process in engineering practice.Therefore,taking the special project of disease treatment of an expressway in Beijing as an example,the judging method and treatment measures were discussed to put forward that the disease causes should be investigated.The causes were analyzed by combination of core sampling and indoor test;The position and state of stagnant water were determined.Water dam-age was treated by means of excavating blind ditches and addition of drain pipe to discharge the inter-layer stagnant water.The research shows that this method can effectively collect and eliminate the stagnant water of asphalt pave-ment structure,solve the problem of water damage completely and provide some reference for the maintenance de-sign of asphalt pavement water damage.关键词
