摘要

Abstract

Geotechnical engineering is based on engineering geology,soil mechanics and rock mechanics to solve various engineering problems encountered in civil engineering.In recent years,with the implementation of the Strong Nation in Science and Technology Strategy,a large number of major projects are built in the Midwest areas which provide superior conditions for geological engineering.The geotechnical engineering has gradually become a hot spot in the field of engineering research in China.Being the highest-level research support project in the field of natural sciences in China,the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC)has attracted widespread atten-tion.The research topics proposed can be regarded as representatives of the research mainstream and frontiers in this field.Based on the theme of geotechnical engineering,the finance scale,supported units and discipline in this field approved by NSFC in the past 10 years have been counted,the overall development trend of NSFC analyzed;Based on the collation,the research direction and development trend of this field in future are briefly analyzed.The re-search can provide a reference for researchers to apply for funds and select scientific research topics in this field.
